Description

The lithograph ‘On the South Coast’ is signed by the artist L.L. Raz? 1864; other examples of his work are now in the National Gallery of Ireland. The departure of the liner is by the French artist L?on Auguste Asselineau (Hamburg 1808 – Havre 1889) and printed by Frick ain? & fils. Bears signatures at the bottom ‘Dess.e et lith.e par Asselineau – Imp. Frick ain? & fils. r. Monsieur le Prince, 58 Paris’. Flaws present, unframed. Lithograph on paper, dimensions 8.6×24.4 and 13.3×17.7 in.
