Description

Possibly made by the goldsmith Jean Francois Mancel. The inner rim is engraved with the name of the previous owner – or a dedication to him – “C.te Dupont Chaumont”. Perhaps Count Dupont Chaumont, French military and diplomat, ambassador and general of the Empire. 18 kt gold, total weight 68,9 gr. – Width 3.5 in.
