Description

Cut engraving taken from a work by the Viterbo painter and draughtsman Giovanni Francesco Romanelli. The second step bears the inscription ‘Franc. Romanell. Viterb. Delin. C. Bloemaert sculp. Romae’, present flaws. Bottom right present shield with coat of arms of Pope Alexander VII Chigi, unframed. Copper engraving, dimensions 8.8×9.4 in.
