The subject is taken from an engraving by Antonio Tempesta depicting the same subject of c. 1610-1620. The work is executed on laid paper and watermark, and bears the inscription ‘Antonio Tempesta inventor Iustus Sadeler excud.’. Flaws present, unframed. Copper engraving, dimensions 7.8×10 in.
