Description

Elegant engraving on watermarked laid paper, based on a drawing by the Dutch artist Nicolaes Visscher (Amsterdam 1618 – 1709). It bears at the bottom the inscription ‘P. Schut fecit. – N. Visscher excudit’. Flaws present, unframed. Copper engraving, dimensions 7.8×10.6 in.
