Description

Engraving on laid paper taken from a painting by Paris Bordon; Lisebetten’s engraving was part of the 1660 collection ‘Theatrum Pictorium’ and a piece is now in the British Museum, London. It is engraved at the bottom with the inscriptions ‘Paris Bordon p. – 5 Alta 6 Lata – P. Lisebetius f.’. Upper right stamp ‘Macfarlane Collection’, flaws present, unframed. Copper engraving, dimensions 6.6×9 in.
