Graphic work taken from the volume of the Peruvian mathematician Mateo Paz Sold?n (? 1812 – Lima 1857) ‘Geografia del Peru: Obra Postuma del D. D. Mateo Paz Soldan’. This sheet bears at the top the inscription ‘Paz Soldan – Geografia del Peru PL XXXIV’ and at the bottom ‘Grabado por Declamare calle S.t Andr? des arts 45 Paris – Paris. Imp. Janson & A.ne Dubois – Plano antiguo del Cuzco, segun un grabado sobre madera del siglio XVI, poco tiempo despues de la Conquista’. Flaws present, unframed. Lithograph on paper, dimensions 20.4×14.5 in.
